Allen Engineering M4 Recce Suppressor
The Allen Engineering M4 Recce Suppressor was specifically engineered for Naval Special Warfare DEVGRU Recce rifles. Coming before the 12th Model/AEM5, this suppressor saw active use from the mid-1990s through the 2010s. Since it shares the standard OPS INC “M4” model name, Allen Engineering included “Recce” in the designation to set it apart from the “AEM4” and the “M4 Delta”.
Additionally, the Allen Engineering M4 Recce features its own specialized mounting system that sets it apart from the Allen Engineering M4 Delta and various other models that might carry the OPS Inc “M4” label. Thanks to its reflex design, which pulls part of the suppressor back over the barrel, this unit achieves a compact 9.25-inch overall length while still extending roughly 5.25 inches past the muzzle. With a diameter of 1.5 inches and a weight of 23 ounces, it’s a well-balanced option for those seeking a dedicated suppressor solution.
