The Allen Engineering AEM3 5.56mm Suppressor (Ops Inc 15th model) is highly regarded by shooters globally for its remarkable combination of compactness and sound suppression. It has been commonly utilized on shorter military and SWAT rifles, both in the United States and abroad. The AEM3 extends the brake by only 3.4 inches, resulting in a total length of approximately 4.9 inches from the muzzle. While its added length is comparable to many “K” style suppressors, its performance rivals that of significantly longer models. Thanks to its shorter mounting length, it can be fitted on barrels as short as 11.5 inches with a standard low-profile gas block and 10.5 inches with specific tapered gas blocks. It is compatible with standard AE/OPS INC brakes and collars.
