Allen Engineering AEM2 Suppressor
The Allen Engineering AEM2 Suppressor (Ops Inc 14th model) provides effective sound suppression relative to other suppressors of similar dimensions, excelling particularly in scenarios where a compact weapon length is essential. It has been predominantly utilized in close-quarters battle (CQB) situations by military and SWAT units.
The Allen Engineering AEM2 extends the brake by only 2.75 inches, resulting in a total length increase of approximately 4.25 inches from the muzzle. Its shorter mounting length allows compatibility with barrels as short as 11.5 inches when using a standard low-profile gas block, and 10.5 inches with specific tapered gas blocks.
Each Allen Engineering suppressor is meticulously assembled to ensure concentricity with the mount, thereby reducing any adverse effects on the projectile’s trajectory post-bore exit. The tapered mount on all Allen Engineering suppressors facilitates consistent alignment with the bore and ensures reliable return to zero after removal for transport or maintenance, while also mitigating misalignment risks from accidental drops or bumps. It is compatible with Type B Standard AE/OPS style brakes and collars.
