With ACET technology, it offers an impressive 50,000 hours of continuous operation on a single AAA battery at setting 7. The Aimpoint CompM5s features a low battery compartment, while the CompM5 has a high one.

Furthermore, it includes recessed lenses with protective flip-up covers, allowing users to engage targets with both eyes open even when the caps are closed. Constructed from hard-anodized aluminum alloy, the sight housing ensures robust protection for its electronic and optical components across various environmental conditions. The Aimpoint CompM5s is also compatible with Aimpoint 3XMAG-1 and 6XMAG-1 magnifiers, as well as all generations of night vision devices.
