The L3Harris BNVD-1531 is equipped with advanced Gen III image intensifiers produced by L3Harris, which include auto-gating power supplies and are offered in white phosphor (P45) with performance metrics exceeding 2376 Figure of Merit (FOM). This white phosphor technology enhances target detection and recognition for the warfighter, making low-light and nighttime operations appear more natural in black and white, while also improving contrast in shapes and shadows.
