The Aimpoint Micro T-2 includes recessed lenses with protective flip-up covers; the front cover is solid while the rear is transparent, enabling users to shoot with both eyes open even when the caps are closed in urgent situations. Constructed from hard-anodized aluminum alloy, the housing provides superior protection for the electronic and optical components across various environmental conditions. The Aimpoint Micro T-2 is also compatible with Aimpoint 3XMag-1 and 6XMag-1 magnifiers, as well as all generations of night vision devices.

Aimpoint red dot sights are designed to be operationally parallax-free, ensuring that the visible dot aligns with the bore of the weapon regardless of the viewer’s eye position relative to the sight. This feature eliminates the need for the user to center the dot within the sight. With an accurate zero, if the dot is aimed at the target, the shooter is also on target.
