The Aimpoint CompM4 Red Dot Sight 2.0 MOA – No Mount is engineered for users who demand a high-quality red dot sight capable of performing in extremely challenging environments. This optic is widely utilized and relied upon by elite operators across the globe. For more than twenty years, the U.S. Army has selected a variant of the Aimpoint CompM4 series as its M68CCO (Close Combat Optic), with the CompM4s currently fulfilling this role, boasting over 100,000 units in service within the U.S. Armed Forces. The primary distinction between the CompM4 and CompM4s lies in the positioning of the battery compartment, with the former featuring a high compartment and the latter a low one.

The CompM4 operates on a single AA battery, providing over 80,000 hours of continuous use and exceeding 500,000 hours in night vision mode. It includes a rubber bikini lens cover and a killFlash® anti-reflection device to minimize lens glare during combat. Constructed from hard-anodized aluminum alloy, the sight housing ensures robust protection for its electronic and optical components in various environmental conditions. The 2 MOA red dot is compatible with the Aimpoint 3XMag-1 magnifier and all generations of night vision equipment.

Aimpoint red dot sights are designed to be operationally parallax-free, ensuring that the visible dot aligns with the bore of the weapon regardless of the viewer’s eye position relative to the sight. This feature eliminates the need for the user to center the dot within the sight. With an accurate zero, if the dot is aimed at the target, the shooter is also on target. Aimpoint red dot sights enhance the shooter’s confidence by enabling them to concentrate on the target while maintaining awareness of their surroundings with both eyes open, resulting in quicker first-round hits with increased assurance.
